Roo Inc. DBA Dory (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects and appreciates the importance of your privacy. In that regard, we have created & adopted this Privacy Policy to explain our data collection, use, and disclosure practices when you visit the website www.meetdory.com (the “Site”) and/or use our discount submission service, quote generation service and/or other services (collectively, the “Services”) offered through the Site or via any third-party platform (website, mobile or web-based applications) that link to or reference this Privacy Policy.

This policy applies to all information collected from and about you in connection with your use of the Site and Services, as well as from other sources both online and offline, including over the telephone with our representatives, or from third parties in connection with our Services. Your Consent to this Privacy Policy
By using the Site and/or Services, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. This is our entire and exclusive Privacy Policy and it supersedes any earlier version. We may change this Privacy Policy by posting a new version of this Privacy Policy on our Site or through the Services, and it is your responsibility to review this policy periodically. When we do change the policy, we will also revise the "Revised" date and may notify you or post a message on the Website and/or through the Service. Your continued use of the Site and/or Services following the revision constitutes your agreement to our updated policy.

This may include Insurance-related Information such as your insurance provider’s name (current and/ or previous), insurance claim information, insurance policy number, insurance policy premium amount, insurance agent/ agency’s contact details, and policy renewal timeline. This may also include non-Personal Information such as type of home, whether you rent or own your home, home mortgage/ lien status, occupational information, retirement status, and whether or not you engage in smoking. This may also include Risk Mitigation Information such as your home security devices, services and/ or protective measures; theft or burglary detection and/ or prevention devices, services and/ or protective measures; fire safety detection and/ or prevention devices, services and/ or protective measures; water safety detection and/ or prevention devices, services and/ or protective measures; electric safety detection and/ or prevention devices, services and/ or protective measures; and home servicing, maintenance and/ or upgrades. It is always your choice whether or not to provide this information. However, please note that if you choose not to provide requested information, you may not be able to use certain features of our Services.

Information that may be automatically collected, such as: information about you, your computer/ devices, or your usage of Services when visiting our Site, interacting with our marketing campaigns and/ or emails, or with any third-party platform that references this Privacy Policy. This may include your computer/ device operating system type, browser type, browser language, the website you visited before browsing to our Site, pages you viewed, how long you spent on a page, access times and information about your use of and actions on our Site. Information from third parties: we may receive information about you from third parties, including when we provide our Services or when other parties send us your information to enable the provision of the Services. This may include consumer, credit, and/or other reporting agencies; our business partners; insurance carriers, agencies, agents, or brokers; or our Risk Mitigation Partners as defined below (via APIs, through telephone conversations, emails, text messages, or chats). This third-party information may include Personal Information, Insurance-related Information, non-Personal Information and/ or Risk Mitigation Information.
Cookies: we may log information using "cookies” which are small data files stored on your hard drive by a website. We may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience on our Site. This type of information is considered non-Personal Information. Every browser allows you to manage your cookies preferences. You can block or remove certain cookies, or all of them through your browser settings. Please bear in mind that blocking or removing cookies may have an impact on your user experience with our Services.
Note: Risk Mitigation Partners include any business partner of ours that sells, distributes or provides products and/ or services that mitigate risk for their customers. This includes but is not limited to partners that provide home security, safety, monitoring, home maintenance, servicing, and/ or upgrades.
Data Usage
Personal Information, Insurance-related Information, non-Personal Information, and/ or Risk Mitigation Information that we collect will be used to support your relationship with us, our Services, and/ or our partners. Among other things, we want to help you quickly find information through our Service, populate forms and respond to requests for information, leverage our tools and facilitate interaction with third party services in connection with your authorized use of our Services, and alert you to upgrades, special offers, updated information in connection to the Services we offer.

We may use the information we collect to: operate, maintain, and improve our Site and Services; provide and deliver products and services; respond to comments and questions and provide customer service; send information including confirmations, invoices, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages; communicate about promotions, upcoming events, and other news about products and services offered by us and our selected partners; link or combine user information with other personal information; protect, investigate, and deter against fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity; send you marketing communications that we believe may be of interest to you; provide insurers with the required information for applications; assist you in negotiating better prices on your current insurance policy; obtain insurance rate quotes for you from insurance carriers; make insurance recommendations to you; assist you in choosing, applying for and/ or purchasing insurance products; provide or offer other financial and consumer products and services from partners; comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal process, such as to respond to subpoenas or requests from government authorities; protect our, your or others’ rights, privacy, safety or property (including by making and defending legal claims); audit our internal processes for compliance with legal and contractual requirements and internal policies; to enforce the terms and conditions that govern our Services; to keep you logged in to our Site or save your preferences for the Services.

We may disclose Personal Information, Insurance-related Information, non-Personal Information, and/ or Risk Mitigation Information it collects about you with third parties, including but not limited to insurance carriers, agents and other insurance professionals (collectively, "Insurance Professionals") if we believe based upon your actions (including your actions and submissions via our Site) that you intend to interact with such third parties or Insurance Professionals through your use of our Services, or when you authorize or instruct us to do so. This includes third parties or Insurance Professionals whose products or services may be marketed through channels outside of our Services. We may be compensated by such third parties. We may share your information in order to either provide or enhance our Services such as: to negotiate discounts or savings on your insurance policy; to maintain and/ or renew discounts or savings on your insurance policy; to obtain quotes and/ or aid in the process of applying for insurance. Please note that use by an insurance carrier of your information is governed by the insurance carrier's privacy policy.

If you were referred to us by a business partner or Risk Mitigation partner, or submitted a request in connection with our Services (including but not limited to discount submissions or quote requests) through a business partner or Risk Mitigation Partner, we may share your information, including Personal Information, Insurance-related Information, non-Personal Information or Risk Mitigation Information with that business partner or Risk Mitigation Partner as necessary to honor the terms of our agreement with them and to provide you the requested products and/ or our Services. For example, if you requested our Services through a home security partner, we may, under the terms of our agreement with that partner, share information such as the status and/ or results of your requests with them.

We may disclose information to third parties if necessary to comply with applicable law, a legal or regulatory requirement, for the administration of justice, to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of others, to protect the security or integrity of our databases and our services, to take precautions against legal liability, and/ or to enforce our agreements and policies.

We may disclose non-Personal Information or Risk Mitigation Information aggregated with information about our other users, to our clients, business partners, merchants, advertisers, investors, potential buyers and other third parties if we deem such disclosure, in our sole discretion, to have sound business reasons or justifications.
We may disclose your information with certain third-party vendors that help us administer the Site and/or Services, including by: storing and hosting our content or your data; performing analytics on our Sites and Services; providing operations and marketing assistance to us; and also when you request us to share certain information with third parties, such as through your use login integrations.
We may disclose your information to corporate affiliates including any of our parent companies, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control with us. If we should ever merge with another organization, file for bankruptcy, or sell our assets, we may transfer the information collected to a third party or share your information with the company with which we enter into such a transaction as a part of said transaction.
Data Security
We strive to maintain commercially reasonable administrative, physical and technical safeguards designed to prevent any unauthorized use, access, destruction, loss, alteration, or disclosure of your data. While we take commercially reasonable steps to protect your data we cannot guarantee perfect security – no internet-based service can. No security system is impenetrable. This Privacy Policy does not cover the information practices of those third-party websites, services or applications. Additionally, certain Personal Information may be made available to third parties using our Application Programming Interface ("API") suite. Use of third party applications developed using our API suite are subject to the terms of use and privacy policies of such third party developers.

We may use third-party services such as Google Analytics to help us understand how users use the Site and our Services and improve the ways in which we interact with users. Such services, including Google Analytics, may collect information about your use of the Services through cookies and other technologies. The collection and use of data by such third parties, including Google Analytics, is subject to their privacy policies.
International Transfers
Personal Information collected through the Services may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which we or our affiliates, subsidiaries, agents or contractors maintain facilities, and by using the Services, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country.
Use by Children
Our Site and Services are not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from users under 16 years of age. We do not authorize users under 16 years of age to use our Services. If you are under 16, please do not give us any personal information and do not use the Site or Services.
However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16 years of age. We, therefore, recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent children’s data from being collected without parental permission. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 16 has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately, and we will delete that information from our databases.
Control your data: Access, Correction, Deletion and Opt-Out
To the extent provided by the law of your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access certain Personal Information we maintain about you; request that we update or correct inaccuracies in that information; object to our use of your personal information; ask us to delete your personal information from our database and those of our service providers, receive equal service and price when exercising the preceding rights. To the extent permitted by applicable law, a charge may apply before we provide you with a copy of any of your Personal Information that we maintain. Additionally, we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, jeopardize the privacy of others, or relate to information that is not associated with your Personal Information.

Please be aware that if you request us to delete your Personal Information, you may not be able to continue to use the Services. Also, even if you request that we delete your Personal Information, we may need to retain certain information for a limited period of time to satisfy our legal, audit and/or dispute resolution requirements.
We make efforts to accommodate individuals’ rights under various laws and regulations. However, not all of them apply to us and to your use of our website and services. Please note that it may take up to ten (10) business days for your opt-out request to be processed. Also, even if you opt out of marketing emails, we may continue to send you certain non-marketing emails, such as notices about your account.
